The Graduate School of Public Health has taken long strides as an institute for public health education since its foundation in 1977. Our program provides 9 different public health specialty areas - hospital administration, epidemiology, environmental health management, health informatics, public health law and ethics, health policy and management, community health nursing, occupational health, and international health sciences.
Each department is doing a leading role in performing advanced research and education in Korea. We now have about 350 students enrolled for the M.P.H degree and 50 in the Health Executive program. We have set up the long-term development plan and carried it out step by step for our vision of becoming a world-renowned graduate school of public health by 2010.
We will continuously serve to enhance the national health system through the prevention of human diseases and injuries, the improvement of the environment, and the making of health policy.
