The University's Mission
Yonsei University's Mission is to train the future leaders of Korea by providing them with a first-class, interdisciplinary and internationalized educational program. Since the mid-1990s, the university has emphasized graduate education and comprehensive research in order to fulfill its goal of becoming one of the top 100 universities in the world by 2010.
Yonsei University firmly believes that this objective is well within reach through implementing a seven-point action plan

- Committing significant resources into basic and applied research,
