In order for modern people to enjoy cultural life, health and beauty may be essential items needed more than anything else. Orthodontic treatment not only provides richness to your life, but also improves your health. We put a lot of efforts on this treatment.
Orthodontics is the medical science intended to arrange teeth according to your face shape so that upper and lower teeth can be meshed with each other, to correct mouth shape, and at the same time to chew food well. Also by preventing teeth decay and periodontal disease, orthodontics improves health.
The Department of Orthodontics at the College of Dentistry
- has established new system to concentrate on specialized treatment by operating special clinics such as Adult Orthodontic Clinic and Craniofacial Deformity Clinic;
- performs various medical treatments such as prevention and treatment of malocclusion, preventive treatment & inhibitory treatment, and orthopedic treatment of using the growth control of children;
- and concentrates on the orthodontic treatment of young people by using fixed appliances.
In addition to these, we are using the diagnostic method that uses the diagnostic tools and computers of utilizing 3-dimensional images to obtain the best results when treating according to the esthetic purposes of patients.
